Terms of Service

• You need a working email address, or a Google account, to sign in.
• Keep your password to yourself — you're responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Don't impersonate someone else.
• The List isn't for children under 13.

You own the items, notes, and photos you add. You give us only the permission we need to store them, show them back to you, and display them to the people you deliberately share them with (share links, milestone cards, public profile, collaborators). We don't claim ownership and we don't use your content to train anything or to advertise.

Please don't use The List to:

• Upload content that's illegal, hateful, or that you don't have the rights to.
• Upload photos of other people who haven't agreed to it.
• Break, overload, scrape, or probe the service, or try to reach other people's data.
• Resell or rebrand the service as your own.

We may suspend or remove an account that does these things, and we'll tell you why where we can.

The List is provided as-is. We work to keep it up and your data safe, but we can't promise uninterrupted service, and features may change or be retired. Keep your own copies of photos you can't afford to lose.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or lost profits arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile settings, which permanently removes your data. We may close an account that breaks these terms. Either way, the obligations above that make sense to survive — ownership, liability — do.

If we change these terms materially, we'll notify you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use The List after that means you accept the update.
